Responsible for Mobily's Brand Design & UX unit, our task was to harmonise a myriad of digital products, services and platforms.

Our focus was on simplicity; stripping away superfluous elements, harmonising the visual design, and introducing an entirely new approach to product and service development through lean/HCD design-thinking.

This approach enabled us to tap into data and insights from a wider social context - a significant consideration given the uniqueness of Saudi culture and local etiquettes - that informed a ux development cycle that resulted in simpler, richer, and more relevant and rewarding customer experiences.

We also introduced an integrated network infrastructure and industrial design discipline - a first for a regional telco operator - marrying Mobily's extensive data and network experience with IoT and OTT product design that is developed entirely in-house.

Understanding the user
We started with in-depth and extensive research into customers, developing a unique segmentation model that revealed specific audience groups.
This segmentation model allowed us to precisely map product and service features to individual user needs, around which we could then carefully craft an appropriate ux experience.

A solid foundation
We created the Brand Experience Framework as the core for all design and development at Mobily.
The sheer breadth of applications across consumer and business products and services ultimately resulted in the creation of 6 experience design guide books, each more than 200 pages long - a potent reminder of just how powerful and versatile the network can be.

Entertainment anywhere
A new brand, product and UX design for Mobily's SVOD streaming service.
MView is more than just a video streaming app - it's an entire entertainment ecosystem. Available on web, mobile, smart tv, consoles, and embedded set-top box, it gives you access to all of your favourite music, video, photos and apps at home or on the go.

The redesign we managed introduced a new visual identity, ux design, and set-top box design, as well as new integrated IoT features aimed at making mview a true entertainment hub.

The first step was an extensive and holistic review of the visual identity, product design, and industrial design. Following on from C-Level approval of recommendations, we set about tackling the brand, software and hardware with a fresh new look.

In addition to it's extensive consumer digital product line-up, Mobily also has a signific enterprise portfolio, tailored for businesses from SMEs, to corporations and government institutions.

We were responsible for the design and ux for products including POS and payment systems, fleet management products, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, network management tools, CRM and ERM tools, cloud and content management middleware, support services, and retail applications.
