Lee's Bees are probably one of the best honey brands you've never heard of. He'd like to keep it that way.
When your real, genuine passion is for caring for your bees, branding isn't something you give much thought to. This is particularly true for Lee since he doesn't actually sell his incedible raw, organic honey; aside from a small batch he keeps or himself and his lovely wife Jane, the bulk of his harvest is generously given away to family and friends.
We are fortunate enough to count ourselves amongst those few and privileged recipients, and in return for his selfless generosity, we offered our creative skills to design the packaging of his honey.
The inspiration for the design come from the bees; from the incredibly precise geometric structure of their honeycomb, and the wide variety of delicate wild flowers of Englands south-eastern countryside, from which they draw their nectar, is captured in abstract form as the focal point of the composition.

Clay bottles are used in place of tradiional glass jars to better protect and retain the natural health benefits of the honey. They create a beautiful and unsual yet unmistakable storage vessel, and are locally and sustainbly sourced, in keeping with Lee's environmentally conscious philosophy.
